Center for the Advancement of Girls at The Agnes Irwin School
Who they are
Center for the Advancement of Girls, a catalyst for innovation and excellence in girls’ education, was launched last fall by The Agnes Irwin School to benefit girls everywhere. The Center fosters research and programs that equip girls with leadership skills, an awareness of the global community, an intellect fit for 21st century learning and a conscious concern for their own physical and social-emotional wellness. Some programs, like the Global Girls Cinema Series, are offered free to the public during the school year. For one week each summer, the Center offers “The Real Deal,” a residential program to develop the leadership potential of girls entering Grades 7-9. What we do for them
The Agnes Irwin School partnered with Hollister Creative to create the graphic identity and online presence of The Center for the Advancement of Girls. Hollister first designed the Center’s logo and a stationery suite, then designed the Center’s website: AdvancingGirls.org. Prior to the Center’s grand opening event last fall, Hollister created a save-the-date postcard and an invitation.
Why they like us
“Hollister brought exceptional creativity and understanding to developing a graphic identity for the Center that would brand the Center by focusing on its name, which really functions as an explanation of its mission. They created a look that was in keeping with the school’s graphic identity as well, which was important to us. Together, the logos for both institutions work very well as a pair of images. They also brought a sense of strength and elegance to the Center’s print materials that we believe will stand the test of time. We loved what they produced for us, and they were a pleasure to work with.”
