American Exhibitions is a producer of world-class touring exhibitions for science centers and museums. With blockbuster exhibits such as “Mummies of the World,” the company helps museums and science centers boost attendance, fuel capital campaigns and increase museum membership. What we do for them
Hollister Creative wrote and designed the Learning Guide that American Exhibitions provides to the museums and science centers presenting “Mummies of the World.” Museums use the guide to attract school groups and help teachers make the most of a class visit to the exhibition. The guide is divided into units of interpretive text highlighting aspects of the exhibition and connecting the study of mummies with various fields of science and social science. Each unit contains inquiry-based science and social science activities that further student understanding of scientific methods of study and the historical and cultural context of mummies.
