Hollister Creative has been honored with a trio of 2015 Communicator Awards. The honors continue the agency’s streak as a consistent winner of international awards, bringing its total to 22 in the last three years.
This year, Hollister Creative received Silver Awards for a website, a capabilities brochure and a fundraising appeal letter, showcasing the firm’s strength across digital and traditional media. The three winning entries were:
- A custom website for Precision AirConvey (www.precisionairconvey.com), a manufacturer of industry-leading edge trim and matrix removal systems: The website combined detailed descriptions of PAC’s innovation solutions with thoughtful navigation and thorough search engine optimization.
- A capabilities brochure for Dunleavy & Associates, a professional services firm that builds capacity, confidence and bottom lines for nonprofit organizations: The eight-panel brochure artfully blended text describing Dunleavy’s core service offerings with eye-catching silhouetted photos of its team members.
- A fundraising appeal letter for the nonprofit Women’s Humane Society, America’s first animal shelter: The two-page letter tastefully layered story-telling text with a colorful paw-print background and photos of adopted cats and dogs with the people who are now providing their “forever homes.”
Billed as the “leading international awards program recognizing big ideas in marketing and communications,” the Communicator Awards receives more than 6,000 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes. Among this year’s winners are major brands such as Mercedes-Benz, The Weather Channel and ESPN The Magazine.
Winners were selected by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts (AIVA), an invitation-only panel of leaders from well-known multi-media companies, including Conde Nast, Disney and Time. Entries are scored on a 100-point scale. Unlike many awards programs, categories can have multiple winners, or none, based on the quality of the entries.
