We get creative for print and web

School Lane Charter School

Who they are
School Lane is a free, public charter school for students in kindergarten through 8th grade. First and foremost, School Lane provides a safe environment in which students gain the confidence to try new things, to learn from their mistakes, to discover their strengths and to unleash their curiosity on the world. The school offers a unique alternative for families in the Bensalem, Pa. area who want both high expectations for all students and support for each student as an individual with specific gifts and needs. What we do for them
Hollister Creative was selected by the School Lane board through a competitive RFP process. The goal was to strengthen the school brand and increase its stature by upgrading the print and interactive media through which the school communicates with all current stakeholders and markets to the families of prospective students. Hollister enhanced the logo with a new tag line and developed a distinctive brand identity that was extended to the school's stationery, its print newsletter and its website. The public area of the new website provides convenient access to all the school information a current parent or prospect might want. Behind a login wall, the school community has a high functioning online learning center built with Moodle software, the Open Source answer to Blackboard Learn K-12. Teachers can use Moodle's myriad capabilities to communicate online with students and parents and to share resources such as instructional materials and classroom announcements.
