Who they are
"Every young person will find a pathway to prosperity." That's the vision of the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE). Through entrepreneurship education, NFTE helps young people from low-income communities build skills and unlock their entrepreneurial creativity. Since 1987, NFTE has reached more than 230,000 young people, and currently has programs in 22 states and 12 countries. The Philadelphia Program Office is based at Temple University. For more information, visit www.nfte.com.
What we do for them
Hollister Creative designed an email invitation sent to representatives of the corporations that support NFTE programs in Philadelphia. They were invited to the 2nd annual NFTE Youth Business Plan Competition. There, winners of business plan competitions at NFTE partner schools in Philadelphia and Camden competed for the top citywide honor by presenting their plans before a panel of judges. The top three winners received laptops and venture capital grants: 1st place, $1,500; 2nd place $1,000; 3rd place, $500. The top two scorers moved on to NFTE's national competition in NYC.
Why they like us
“Hollister Creative understood our needs and our budget, and delivered exactly what we were looking for.”
— Lori Perlow, Program Director
